The Vacuum Cleaner

Does anyone else have kids that are scared of the vacuum cleaner? Abigail and Michael have always gone into hysterics when I pull out the vacuum. Needless to say, I can only vacuum when they are outside of the house. It's so strange. This afternoon it has been sitting in the living room and all of the sudden they looked over and freaked out! O.k. the thing was not even plugged in and has been sitting there since yesterday! I calmed them down and then they decided they needed to play with the vacuum cleaner. So now they are walking around the house and pretending to vacuum. I only can hope this takes away the fear of the vacuum cleaner!
